Review your medical and dental history
Have you see one of our doctors who will do a comprehensive examination of your mouth and determine what type of cleaning is best for you. If we can, we will do our best to clean your teeth that day. The doctor will also help you create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have. Take X-rays of your teeth and mouth
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:
Your completed patient information form

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit the dentist please remember that your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
What causes cavities?
Certain types of bacteria live in our mouths. When these bacteria come into contact with sugary foods left behind on our teeth after eating, acids are produced. These acids attack the enamel on the exterior of the teeth, eventually eating through the enamel and creating holes in the teeth, which we call cavities.
